New start for Stichting Otterdam in 2026
Happy New Year! After a silent 2025, I’m pleased to say Stichting Otterdam is entering 2026 with new plans and renewed vigor.
It starts with the new website at https://otterdam.org, which spells out hopes and plans for the year. These include:
- Recruiting new board members. A Secretary and Treasurer hasn’t emerged from within the furry fandom, so we’re broadening the search. Of course we still welcome applications from within the fandom! Position descriptions are at https://otterdam.org/get-involved/#board.
- Creating funds (and donation channels) to support specific initiatives such as cultural preservation, artwork shipping, etc..
- Collecting physical resources to support events that welcome a furry presence.
I’m looking forward to what 2026 brings!
